Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Dan Rotundo's practice bridges the traditional and contemporary tattoo aesthetics.

Rotundo trained in South Korea under Horitatsu Kyung Jin at Fat Buddha Tattoo Studio for three years and is part of the Horitatsu Tattoo family.  His training was in Irezumi, the traditional Japanese style, with designs often depicting Japanese folklore and mythological creatures in dramatic wave and smoke filled patterns.

After moving back to the United States, Rotundo expanded his practice to a broader range of styles. Currently working at Sacred Tattoo NYC He specializes in traditional Japanese, geometric, and abstract styles.
